Our Story

Drayden Design opened for business in November 2001. We consist of a group of individuals with over 40 years of experience in designing, building, and renovating homes and commercial spaces throughout the United States. DDG is a full-service design firm with numerous capabilities. We can design your new project working from photos, partial floor plans, or basic sketches drawn on a napkin. Can't find a complete house plan on the internet which fits your needs? We can assemble parts of several plans and create a design which is uniquely yours. DDG has the experience to design the home addition, new garage, or remodeling project you desire.

Our Service

DDG utilizes advanced CAD design software which provides our client photo-realistic images of each phase of the design process. We provide multiple interior and exterior views of the project to aid in the decision-making process for our customers. No longer do you have to imagine what your home will look like once your home is complete. Now you can see the finished project before construction even starts.

Our Standard

DDG can provide information to the client concerning energy efficiency and the effective use of building materials to reduce the cost of ownership. We also assist the client during the financing, permitting, and construction process. DDG has a wealth of expertise which saves our customers time and money and helps take the fear out of a process which can sometimes be overwhelming.

A word about our next project

This is a home we designed for a client from another state moving to Kentucky. The home has 3,256 square feet of living space on the first floor. The home will have an additional 2,084 square feet of living area in the finished basement. There is also an oversized attached three-car garage. We will start construction on the home in mid-May 2026. The house will be located on 20 acres in Harrison County, KY.

Does Drayden Design Group do any design and construction work for Home Remodeling?

Yes! We have done numerous projects in Central Kentucky where someone wanted additions to their current home rather than a full redesign.

Am I required to use Drayden Design Group for my home construction if I only want you to work on the design of my home?

You are not required to hire us for construction if you only want our services for the design of your home. Many of our projects are designs for homes that went on to be constructed by a group not associated with Drayden Design Group.

Do you build homes outside of the Central Kentucky area?

Although we have designed homes throughout the United States, the only locations we are available for construction are in the following counties: Bourbon, Fayette, Harrison, Jesamine, Scott, and Woodford County.
